Nanophoton RAMAN-11 Confocal Raman Microscope

Arriving in January 2011, the Nanophoton RAMAN-11 confocal Raman microscope has been used for studies of both both biological and nanotechnology studies. Based on a Nikon upright microscope, the RAMAN-11 has two powerful lasers and an ultrasensitive detector to acquire both standard microscope images and molecular information. Emplyoing unique laser scanning technology, the RAMAN-11 is many times faster than traditional systems. The software and user interface are both flexible and intuitive, allowing users to acquire data quickly in spot, line, xyz, and xz modes.

The RAMAN-11 is in BIF on long-term loan courtesy of Nanophoton Corporation and Left Coast Instruments.
