Leica Fluorescence Microscope

Along with our Leica Confocal Laser Scanning System, we have an inverted Leica Fluorescence (Widefield) Microscope with a Sutter Lambda DG-4 and Lambda 10-2 high speed filter changers.

    Optics available:
  • 20X and 40X extended working distance dry objectives
  • 40X, 63X and 100X oil-immersion objectives
    This microscope is capable of imaging:
  • FITC
  • Texas Red
  • DAPI
  • CFP-YFP FRET
  • Fura-2
  • Indo

Openlab software on a networked Macintosh Quad 2.5GHz G5 workstation allows for acquisition of images over a z-series with a QImaging Retiga EXi CCD camera and an integrated color filter system used for RGB capture, multi-channel fluorescence capture, deconvolution, calcium indicator imaging, and FRET.
