BIF Events March 2012
On Thursday, March 22 we are hosting BIF User Appreciation Day. Beginning at 12, free pizza and beverages will be served. From 12-5, company representatives will be on-site. Some will be bringing new equipment for hands-on demonstrations, others will be demonstrating software with new capabilities. In addition, this year we have even more to celebrate: BIF is 10 years old! There will also be a workshop on application of Volocity, one of our principal image analytical software tools. On Friday, March 23, along with the Midwest Microscopy and Microanalysis Society, BIF is sponsoring a symposium on quantitative microscopy and image analysis. Registration is required to attend the Friday program. The cost is low - free for current M3S members, $5 for student non-members, $20 for regular non-members - and lunch is included. In addition, vendors will be present in the Einstein's Cafe Area to answer questions and exhibit new instruments.
